Research study was conducted in order to understand how gifted students view themselves and how they interpret the attitudes of their peers, parents and teachers towards their giftedness. It was found that the students attending school-based programs for the gifted experience significantly higher estimated confirmation of their giftedness from their peers, parents and teachers than students attending regular schools. But, special program students were less ready for self-nomination in comparison with results of research studies conducted in Western countries.
