Abstract
By integrating interactive and individualized teaching, the Center for interactive pedagogy develops educational programs and adult training for how to apply them; promotes educational practice by training teachers, parents and representatives of local communities; trains for tolerance development and recognition of diversity, communication skills and inclusion of marginalized groups into society. The starting point of educational programs and training is that learning is a multiple, integral and contextual process of developing and designing knowledge. Interactive and individualized teaching enable effective learning, durability and applicability of knowledge in professional work and everyday life, and is based on the following principles: knowledge and skills development is linked to previous experiences; teaching and training are individualized and adapted to personal physical, psycho-social and cognitive characteristics and social context; educational process is directed ...to the course, relationships and outcomes; varied activities, interactive methods and techniques are applied; learning is going on through participants’ interaction, exchange of ideas, experiences, and joint work; democratic relationships, partnership communication and cooperation make them feel fine and learn more effectively; learning is the process of participants’ interaction with physical environment, learning environment is stimulating, and a variety of teaching materials are used.
