Ставови и искуства родитеља о боравку деце у јаслицама у београдским вртићима

Abstract

У савременим образовним системима, препознаје се значај предшколског образовања за социјални, морални, емотивни и когнивни развој деце, као и стварање инклузивног система образовања. У контексту у којем се са старих прелази на нове Основе предшколског програма, сматрамо да је значајно истражити ставове и искуства родитеља о овој теми. Овај рад се заснива на резултатима квалитативног истраживања експлоративног типа. Обављено је 8 дубинских полуструктурираних разговора са родитељима чија деца похађају јаслене групе у београдским приватним и државним вртићима. Намера је да се испитају фактори који су значајни за избор јаслица, као и да се утврде ставови родитеља о позитивним и негативним аспектима боравка деце у вртићу. Најзад, испитаће се задовољство родитеља сарадњом са васпитачима. Родитељи истичу важност питања безбедности, опремљености и хигијене, као и програма и организације рада. Такође, родитељи истичу задовољство позитивним променама у понашању деце, док као негативне аспекте истичу чешће здравствене проблеме. Иако преовладава сарађујући однос са васпитачима, испитаници истичу замерке у виду недостатка времена за размену информација и комуникацију. У закључку, сматрамо да је неопходно узети у разматрање искуства и ставове родитеља при конципирању и имплементацији иновација у образовању, јер је добра сарадња породице и предшколских установа неопходна како би се остварио позитиван развој деце.

Contemporary educational systems stress the importance of preschool education for social, moral, emotional, and cognitive child development, as well as for the social inclusion in education. In the context in which the shift from the old to the new concept of the preschool program is under way, we believe that it is important to examine parents’ attitudes and experience regarding this topic. This paper draws on the results of the qualitative explorative research. We conducted eight in-depth, semi-structured interviews with parents whose children are in nurseries in Belgrade private and state kindergartens. Our intention is to examine the factors important for the childcare choice, as well as to investigate parents’ attitudes towards positive and negative aspects of childcare. Finally, the parents’ satisfaction with the cooperation with nursery staff will be explored. Parents stress the importance of safety, childcare environment and hygiene issues, as well as the program and organizational issues. Furthermore, parents stress their satisfaction with positive changes in children’s behavior, while negative aspects include an increased occurrence of the health-related problems. Even though the positive and cooperative relationship with the nursery staff is prevalent, the respondents object to the lack of time for information exchange and communication. In conclusion, we believe that it is necessary to take into consideration parents’ experience and attitudes in the process of implementing innovations in education, because good family-kindergarten cooperation is crucial for a positive child development.
