Abstract
The article presents the results of the research of lexically semantic level from the aspect of ability to recognize the linguistic contents of a lexeme to the offered linguistic expression of a frequent lexeme in children with developmental dysphasia after a completed speech pathology (logopaedics) treatment. A sample of 160 respondents aged 7 to 13 was taken and divided in two groups: the experimental one was represented by 60 respondents (children with developmental dysphasia after completed speech pathology treatment) and the control one of 100 respondents (children with normal speech language development). The tests applied were ACADIA test of developmental abilities (Atkinson, Johnson and Lindsay 1972) and the sixth subtest - Audio Visual Association. The research results led us to conclusion that this ability is less developed in respondents with development dysphasia in relation to children with normal speech development.
