An impact of affective and motivational factors in family upbringing towards pupil’s school achievement

Uticaj afektivno-motivacionih faktora u porodičnom vaspitanju na školski uspeh učenika

Abstract
The paper deals with complex social and psychological aspects as well as necessity for their investigation while interpreting school results and answering the question to what degree affective and motivational factors in family upbringing can explain pupil's school achievement. The objective of this paper is to explain the connection between social and economic family status, family structure, self esteem, educational expectations of both pupil's and their families in pupil's point of view with their school achievement. The survey covered pupils attending the third form if Belgrade secondary schools (340). The results of the survey show that the most impressive regression model such as-mother's educational status, total amount of factors of pupil's expectations in their further education parent's expectations in further education as well as social affirmation – which successfully explained 72% of pupil's school achievement should be accepted.
U radu se ukazuje na složenost socijalno-psiholoških pojava i neophodnost njihovog proučavanja u objašnjenju uzroka školskog uspeha i neuspeha, kao i na nastojanja da se odgovori na pitanje u kojoj meri se afektivno-motivacionim faktorima u porodičnom vaspitanju može objasniti školski uspeh učenika. Cilj ovog rada je da se utvrdi povezanost između socio-ekonomskog statusa porodice, strukture porodice, samopoštovanja obrazovnih očekivanja učenika i obrazovnih očekivanja roditelja opaženih od strane učenika sa školskim uspehom učenika. Ispitivanjem su obuhvaćeni učenici trećih razreda beogradskih srednjih škola (N=340). Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da se kao "najjači" u objašnjenju varijanse školski uspeh učenika prihvati sledeći regresioni model - obrazovni status majke skor faktora očekivanja učenika u daljem školovanju, skor faktora očekivanja roditelja u daljem školovanju i skor faktora socijalna afirmacija – kojim je objašnjeno oko 72% školskog uspeha učenika.
