dc.description.abstractThe work presents a choice of results from a detailed research dealing with pupils attitudes towards biology and mathematics. The sample included 399 eighth form elementary school pupils from Belgrade. The researchers analyses pupils answers to some questions from the Inventory of habits and techniques in learning, referring to the subject the pupils like, the subject they this like, the subject which is difficult to master and the causes of difficulties in mastering matter in that subject. More negative attitudes are found as regards mathematics, as well as stating some difficulties in studying. Pupils spoke of some already offered problems which cause difficulties in studying these subjects. The results obtained may be applied in innovating teaching since they point to the concrete needs of pupils. To be able to generalise on a broader scale a further research is necessary.en
dc.description.abstractU radu su prikazani odabrani nalazi iz jednog obimnijeg istraživanja, koji se odnose na stavove učenika prema biologiji i matematici. Uzorak je obuhvatao 399 učenika osmog razreda beogradskih osnovnih škola. Analizirani su odgovori učenika na nekoliko pitanja iz primenjenog Inventara navika i tehnika učenja, koji se odnose na predmet koji učenici vole, predmet koji ne vole, predmet koji im je težak i uzroke teškoća u učenju određenog predmeta. Rezultati pokazuju da preko trećine ispitanih učenika izražava pozitivne stavove prema oba ispitivana predmeta. Negativni stavovi više su zastupljeni u vezi sa matematikom, kao i izražavanje određenih poteškoća u učenju. Učenici su se izjašnjavali za pojedine ponuđene uzroke koji im otežavaju učenje navedenih predmeta. Dobijeni nalazi mogu naći primenu u inoviranju nastave, s obzirom da ukazuju na konkretne potrebe učenika. Za šire uopštavanje potrebno je dalje ispitivanje.sr
